Founder
John's career in the public, private, academic, and nonprofit sectors has brought him to 37 African countries where he has sown millet seeds with farmers and negotiated with Prime Ministers. A civil engineer with a business degree, he is passionate about partnerships with entrepreneurs to accelerate Africa's sustainable growth.
Nii Lokko
Nii is a C-Suite Strategist, Analyst and Innovator with two decades of experience devising solutions for business, operations and technology challenges. His career record showcases strategy leadership and high-quality delivery of complex programs in investment banking and in entrepreneurial roles at new ventures. Nii holds degrees in Electrical Engineering (Princeton) and Business (NYU Stern).
Akporode Esha
Rode is a Project Manager and Business Analyst with skills in Data Science, Agile delivery, software development and Business transformation. His career in the US and Nigeria has built his capabilities as an assessor of business health and driver overall operational improvements. Rode holds degrees in Business Analytics (College of Saint Rose, New York) and Mathematics (Delta State, Nigeria).
Wari Isaac
Wari is an Investment Analysis Intern at Pangea Ventures and identifies African companies with strong teams and high growth potential. Wari was previously employed at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs company, and ay Magellan Jets. He will complete his MBA from the Huether School of Business, New York, in 2021. Wari also owns a music record label, Nings Nation, in Nigeria.
David Erickson
David is an international business and non-profit executive as well as a successful solar and battery entrepreneur. He has started multiple energy businesses in Africa and the U.S., the most recent, Kailo Energy, being acquired in 2018. For over 10 years David has also provided advisory and consulting services to businesses and non-profits around the globe working on energy and business development projects.
